Always my standard favorite since I was a kid, eating them by the handful. I made the mistake of buying some random unsalted Un-Virginia peanuts recently and they were fine, but nothing beats a real Virginia Diner peanut. Peanuts are a very healthy food. And they have their own good taste. These peanuts are made even more healthy by not having added salt or sugar. The website says that these peanuts have added soybean oil. Although soybean oil is not a healthy choice, don't let this put you off these peanuts. The management told me that they actually use peanut oil, not soybean oil.

Peanuts are a very healthy food, especially when they contain no added salt and no added sugar. And, despite the label saying that the peanuts have added soybean oil, I learned from the company that they had switched to peanut oil. This is a good thing, since I had learned from Web articles that soybean oil is not healthy.

I'm disappointed every year because I have to open each box to find out what flavor is inside and then write it on the bottom of the box so I'll know to which person to give it. Perhaps the best review I can provide is my repeat order for these delicious peanuts. My uncle introduced me to them. He'd pick them up while traveling to Cape Hatteras, NC from his home in Roanoke, VA. We had them for snacking throughout the week, always disappointed when we ran out. These peanuts are so different from others I've had; they're larger, crunchier and more flavorful. I don't know what magic the Virginia Diner does to them; they are truly wonderful.My uncle prefers the lightly salted version, maybe I'm a purist but the unsalted ones are my favorite.
