Delicious nuts! I bought several containers for Christmas gifts. The cans had a great vintage looking Christmas label perfect for the holidays. The Butter Toasted Peanuts are definitely a favorite of my family.

Peanuts after all these years

Ordered peanuts from Virginia Diner last year for the first time we lived in Wakefield in 1996 - 1998. The butter toasted were so good that I had to incorporate a trip to Wakefield when my daughter and I visited the east coast from Illinois in the spring. Besides the nostalgia of a place I used to live, the taste and freshness are starting a tradition of these peanuts.

I truly believe that the butter toasted peanuts are better than any product I have tasted. That includes Fresh Market that sells these at their stores or even buying little bags of toasted peanuts from a New York street vendor.

Back in September, I ordered peanuts from Virginia Diner. The arrived promptly, but I was somewhat disappointed with what arrived: they were not as big as the ones I used to buy from Virginia Diner. I expressed my disappointment on a review. I did not expect a surprise gift that came in October from the CEO, who sent a hand written note explaining the crop failure last year, and a fresh can of Butter Roasted Peanuts. My wife and I loved it, and we were hooked! I ordered more Butter Roasted Peanuts. When Virginia Diner sent another promotional ad, I ordered more. This Christmas, I decided to share this treasure by sending some to my brother in Texas.
